Immersion Learning Through Music
For the past ten years I’ve been working on a creative development process that delivers story-driven, authentic content with cultural nuance and authenticity at scale. From scripting and storyboarding, to the timing of lyrics and overall pacing of the project - each step is made with a global audience of kids in mind, kids with unique languages, cultures, and ways of seeing the world.
“Universal human experiences” that cut across all cultures are the foundation of each story/song and the art is building a container around each of those pillars that is small enough to make the message clear and teach critical content in multiple languages but large enough for rich culture and unique personality to come through in each language.
The below proof of concept was built with virtually no budget using creative commons visuals, but the music, lyrics, stories, and heart are all original ❤️+🎧

The Beach | La Playa
This is the perfect SPRING BREAK anthem!! The idea was to create a nuanced, loving track that captures the sweet flavor of a beach day while also being simple enough to translate into other languages and still feel natural and authentic.
The Seasons & Weather | Estaciones del año
Inspired by my sidekick Cosmo - this track takes us into the stratosphere to explore weather patterns and seasons. Electronic beats and a driving melody keep the energy lively and fun while kids learn about seasons and weather. I wanted to come up with something that was unforgettably catchy but also had key useful vocabulary for early learners.
